I would like to invite you to participate in America Recycles Day on November 15 (or sometime around Nov. 15) by hosting an event (providing an educational event in your workplace or beyond, encouraging employees or the general public to recycle, clean out your files and recycle all the paper, adding information about America Recycles Day in your next newsletter, encouraging everyone to “Take the “Recycling Pledge” to learn about recycling options in their community, reduce their personal waste by recycling, and to start recycling one new type of material. (The on-line pledge can be found at http://americarecyclesday.org/pledge/index.php.)

Since 1997, communities across the country have come together on November 15 to celebrate America Recycles Day. One day to get our neighbors, friends and community leaders excited about what can be accomplished when we all work together. One day to make recycling bigger and better 365 days a year.
